Trench raids can capture prisoners for intelligence, while mines give patient commanders a devastating alternative to charging directly through no-man’s-land. Players who enjoy the methodical planning of Company of Heroes but want a slower, harsher focus on World War I trench warfare should find plenty to dig into, especially if they can accept that victory rarely feels clean.
