Our Darker Purpose is a punishing top-down action roguelike with action-RPG progression, casting young student Cordy as the lone survivor determined to reach the Administrators’ offices at the top of the institution. The mood is grim, strange, and often darkly funny, mixing storybook imagery with unsettling implications about what happened to the missing adults.
