A high-security corporate network becomes the setting for a demanding first-person puzzle platformer built around speed, spatial awareness, and magnetic manipulation. You play a hired hacker pushing toward a heavily protected database for a wealthy client whose real intentions remain unclear. The clean, abstract environments hide a conspiracy beneath their sterile surfaces, giving the campaign more purpose than a simple sequence of test chambers. Polarity keeps the mood tense and cerebral, asking you to stay calm while systems, lasers, and impossible-looking gaps stand between you and the truth.

Progress centers on switching and using opposing polarities to interact with special surfaces, devices, and obstacles throughout each level. Red and blue forces let you pull yourself toward certain panels or launch away from them, turning ordinary jumps into carefully timed aerial maneuvers. Its sleek digital architecture recalls Portal’s focused puzzle spaces, but Polarity places more emphasis on reflexes and movement precision than on physics comedy or conversational storytelling. A separate local two-player cooperative campaign adds puzzles designed around coordination, with support for gamepads alongside mouse-and-keyboard controls. Players who enjoy difficult platform-puzzle hybrids such as Q.U.B.E., Portal, or Mirror’s Edge’s trickier traversal sections find plenty to appreciate, while newcomers should expect a steep learning curve and occasional frustration before the mechanics click.
