Nick shoots with a conventional arsenal, but firearms are rarely the most interesting solution. Telekinesis lets you hurl crates, explosives, corpses, and enemies around the environment, while mind control allows temporary possession of guards to open routes or turn their weapons on allies. Pyrokinesis, remote viewing, and aura sight expand both combat and navigation, often revealing hazards, hidden switches, or tactical opportunities that brute force misses. Missions remain largely linear, with checkpoint-driven levels full of soldiers and security systems, yet the physics-based powers encourage improvisation: pin an opponent to a wall, use one guard as a living shield, or send a possessed enemy into a locked room.

What stands out is how freely the psychic toolkit interacts with the scenery and enemy AI for a game of its era. Telekinesis in particular feels like a rougher, more aggressive predecessor to the object manipulation seen in games such as Control, while the possession mechanic gives encounters a mischievous tactical edge. Its camera, aiming, and presentation undeniably show their age, and players expecting modern cover-shooter polish may need patience with its old-school design. Even so, it remains an appealing cult classic for fans of Max Payne-era third-person action, paranormal thrillers, and games that let supernatural powers create their own messy solutions.
