Levels reward aggressive movement and constant curiosity, sending you through maze-like corridors where hidden walls, elevated platforms, jump pads, and lethal environmental hazards can be as important as gunfire. The familiar arsenal ranges from pistols and machine guns to heat-seeking missiles, magic hand attacks, and the famously destructive God Hand, while selectable characters bring slightly different strengths to the campaign.
