A grimy, neon-lit city becomes a proving ground for outlaw bikers who settle every dispute at highway speed. Road Rage is an arcade motorcycle combat game in the old Road Rash mold, mixing street races with melee brawls, gang politics, and a climb toward the presidency of a ruthless motorcycle club. Its tone is knowingly excessive: riders swing pipes and swords from moving bikes, opponents fly into traffic, and missions treat every neighborhood as another arena for two-wheeled violence. The story provides a basic excuse to meet new gangs and take territory, but the appeal lies in reckless rides through crowded urban streets.

Most missions ask you to race between checkpoints, eliminate rival riders, escort an ally, deliver an item, or survive a gang confrontation. Combat happens directly from the saddle, with melee weapons, kicks, blocks, and bike-mounted attacks used to knock enemies off their machines while maintaining control through traffic and sharp turns. Completing jobs earns money and progression toward better motorcycles, while cosmetic and performance-oriented customization lets you tune your chosen ride to your preferred look. The open city links its mission markers across distinct districts, so there is room to cruise between objectives, although exploration largely serves as a route to the next fight rather than a deep sandbox activity. With 42 story assignments and dozens of side jobs, it offers a substantial amount of straightforward arcade content.

What separates Road Rage from modern racers is its commitment to close-quarters vehicular fighting instead of realistic handling or simulation detail. It aims for the rowdy, low-stakes energy of classic combat racers, where a well-timed swing matters as much as taking the fastest corner. Presentation and mission design can feel rough around the edges, and players expecting the polish, physics, or open-world depth of Grand Theft Auto V or the tactical racing of Ride may find it dated. Still, fans who miss Road Rash-style bike brawls and want a simple single-player action racer with plenty of missions can find a scrappy, mindless diversion here.
