Developed by the team behind Black Mesa, it aims for a co-op shooter rhythm where a bad plan can unravel faster than a magazine empties.

Missions send squads into an airport, shopping mall, office complex, and oil rig, where teams gather intelligence, pursue objectives, eliminate threats, and extract with whatever they can secure. Combat rewards deliberate use of cover, angles, gadgets, and teammate roles rather than simply sprinting toward the next firefight, although the pace can become brutally fast once alarms sound. Enemy MERX types force different responses: standard soldiers cover every role, Berserkers aggressively close the distance with blades, Snipers lock down sightlines, and heavily armored units absorb punishment while pressuring the squad. Progression begins with modest gear and expands into a loadout of more than 20 weapons and 40 tactical tools, while the Dead Drop system creates a risk-versus-reward hunt for valuable equipment.

Its strongest feature is the Parametric Design System, which reshapes mission spaces and encounter layouts so familiar locations do not become predictable shooting galleries. More than 40 possible mission arrangements give each operation room for improvisation, especially when a powerful 5-Star Mercenary appears and demands focused, coordinated fire. Cosmetic unlocks add personality without distracting from the practical work of building a useful kit, and the accessible starting equipment makes the opening hours approachable.
