Miss Fortune, Illaoi, Braum, Pyke, Ahri, and Yasuo form an uneasy crew, each carrying personal grudges and reasons to fear the cursed Shadow Isles. Combat revolves around three initiative lanes that let players choose between quick actions, balanced attacks, and slower, devastating moves. Powerful abilities can be delayed by hazards or accelerated through advantageous lane placement, so every battle asks you to manage timing rather than simply select the strongest skill. Characters gain equipment, enchant weapons, unlock passive upgrades, and build distinct roles such as healing, tanking, burst damage, or status control, while exploration sends the party through ports, ruins, temples, and fog-covered islands full of treasure, side quests, environmental puzzles, and optional bosses. Difficulty settings make the campaign approachable for players who mainly want the story, although higher settings demand smart team composition and careful use of mana and ultimate attacks.

Airship Syndicate gives the world a bold hand-drawn identity reminiscent of Battle Chasers, with Joe Madureira’s chunky character designs and expressive environments making every location feel more tangible than a standard tie-in RPG. Its biggest strength is how it translates League champions into adventurers with room for dialogue, relationships, and downtime instead of reducing them to competitive builds. The campaign is fairly linear, but varied party setups, collectibles, fishing, crafting, and challenging encounters add reasons to investigate beyond the main route.
