Savage Halloween

A supernatural rave has gone very wrong, leaving Earth clogged with undead partygoers, werewolves, slime, and other noisy monsters that refuse to return to the afterlife. Savage Halloween turns that absurd setup into a brisk 2D run-and-gun platformer with a deliberately pulpy, cartoon-horror tone. James, a farmer whose peaceful death is interrupted by the invasion, grabs a shotgun and joins a resistance determined to shut down the vampire’s eternal party. It is goofy rather than frightening, built around the pleasure of blasting bizarre creatures through colorful haunted stages.

Levels ask you to run, jump, avoid hazards, collect power-ups, and fire in eight directions while enemies swarm in from every side. Weapons go beyond a standard shotgun, with oddball projectiles that make crowd control and boss encounters feel less predictable than the game’s old-school presentation suggests. Three playable characters bring different attributes to the fight, encouraging players to find a preferred balance of movement, endurance, and offensive power.
