The hand-drawn animal cast and understated presentation give the story a cartoonish surface, but the choices regularly carry an uncomfortable edge because your safety depends on sending others toward zombies. Branching decisions and different approaches to negotiation encourage replaying scenes to see how far Hank’s schemes can go.
