A botched robbery turns Mittens, a gifted feline thief, into the center of a strange quantum experiment inside a heavily guarded research complex. Schrodinger's Cat Burglar plays like a lighthearted stealth-puzzle adventure, mixing laser grids, mechanical security, secret rooms, and cartoon science-fiction absurdity. Its central joke is also its strongest idea: the hero becomes two cats at once, turning an ordinary break-in into a clever exercise in being everywhere security is not.

Players guide Mittens through the laboratory, slipping past patrols, interacting with machinery, and using both quantum versions of the cat to reach switches, carry out coordinated actions, and manipulate the environment from separate positions. When no one observes her, Mittens can maintain that split state; cameras, guards, and other watchful obstacles force her back into one definite location, creating puzzles built around timing, sightlines, and misdirection. The campaign steadily introduces tougher contraptions and more demanding challenges as the mystery around the facility, its pest-control robots, and the elusive Shadow Cat develops. Local co-op lets a second player take control of the duplicate cat directly, making the more elaborate rooms feel like a shared caper rather than a solo logic test.

The quantum premise gives its puzzles a more distinctive identity than standard crate-pushing or switch-hunting platformers, while the playful cat theme keeps the science terminology from becoming dry. Costumes, breed choices, hats, and accessories add welcome silliness, especially since both versions of Mittens can wear the selected look. Hidden routes and optional harder puzzles provide reasons to revisit areas beyond simply reaching the ending. Fans of Portal-style spatial problem-solving, cooperative escape-room challenges, or inventive indie stealth games should find plenty to like, and its approachable humor makes it a solid fit for newcomers as well as experienced puzzle players.
