Section 13 keeps its story personal as well, tying the team’s investigation to mysteries surrounding the agents themselves.

Combat uses twin-stick shooting fundamentals but demands more than simply circling enemies and holding the trigger. Runs involve pushing through shifting facility layouts, managing reload windows, dodge-rolling through attacks, scavenging weapons and tactical gear, and using character abilities when the screen becomes crowded. Melee tools offer a risky escape route at close range, while a Fear system adds pressure: let panic build too high and your agent suffers debilitating effects in the middle of a mission.
