Earth-Prime turns superhero battles into a tactical cooperative card game where a handful of heroes must stop catastrophes before a villain’s scheme overwhelms the city. Its tone sits squarely in colorful comic-book territory, but the fights demand real coordination: Argo the Ultimate Android, Hades, Grue Meta-Mind, and Omega each pressure the team in different ways while the battlefield itself adds complications. The setting draws on the Mutants & Masterminds universe, bringing Freedom City, Farside City, Tartarus, and The Terminus to life as active parts of every encounter. Rather than relying on reflexes, it captures the escalating rhythm of a comic issue through clever card play and increasingly dangerous turns.

Each player chooses a hero with a distinct deck, then follows an approachable turn structure: play one card, activate one power, and draw one card. The apparent simplicity quickly opens into layered decisions, since cards can buff allies, redirect damage, set up delayed effects, remove threats, or alter the usual rules in dramatic ways. Winning depends on reading the villain’s engine, managing environmental hazards, and combining powers at the right moment instead of merely dealing the largest possible damage number. Ten heroes provide plenty of tactical variety, from speed-focused Johnny Rocket to more unusual options such as Pseudo, The Raven, and Dr. Metropolis, while unlockable variants change abilities and encourage repeat runs through story-driven challenges.
