Severed Steel turns first-person shooting into a ferocious acrobatic power fantasy, built around impossible-looking escapes and split-second gunfights. Steel, a one-armed mercenary fighting through the corporate stronghold of EdenSys, survives by moving faster and thinking sharper than every squad in her way. The mood is aggressive, stylish, and arcade-driven: concrete splinters under gunfire, enemies swarm from multiple angles, and every room becomes a playground for violent improvisation. Rather than slowing down for cautious corridor shooting, it rewards players who turn momentum into a weapon.

Wall-running, diving, sliding, vaulting, and kicking are essential tools, while generous bullet time lets you line up shots during the chaos. Weapons have no conventional reload mechanic, so an empty gun is an invitation to disarm an enemy, grab a fallen firearm, or hurl the useless weapon as a distraction.
