A broken Earth becomes the hunting ground for a clone fleeing the only family he has left: a murderous brother responsible for the collapse of their laboratory and the deaths of their creators. Shatterland blends survival RPG systems with a bleak open-world adventure, sending players through ruined settlements, strange alien-infested zones, and the remnants of military projects gone horribly wrong. Cooperative play lets allies join a shared world to fight together, revive downed partners, and speed up progression, though inventories and advancement remain tied to that particular world rather than following a character everywhere. That structure makes the game feel closer to a persistent survival sandbox than a conventional single-player RPG, especially when coordinating a defended base with friends.
