As new RavenTek employee Port Yang Greffice, you manipulate a panel full of strange devices that create, relay, and react to electronic signals. What begins as a job focused on meeting profit targets gradually develops into a light sci-fi mystery involving suspicious activity inside the company. The mood balances clean, abstract circuitry puzzles with comic-style story scenes and the uneasy feeling that Port’s employer is hiding more than bad office policies.

Each assignment asks you to position and activate units so their signals form productive chains across the board. Connected devices trigger one another, generate revenue, and ultimately help you reach a required target, but every move matters because the number of repositioning turns is limited. There is no time pressure, so success comes from studying the layout, testing possible routes, and recognizing how one small adjustment can reshape the entire network. Earnings can be banked to clear a mission or spent on additional units, creating a satisfying risk-and-reward layer: safe solutions may work, while bolder setups can snowball into far larger profits. Signal Maze includes 150 handcrafted tasks, with mechanics introduced steadily enough that the later challenges demand planning rather than blind trial and error.

Its strongest feature is the way it turns a visual programming-style interface into an economical puzzle system with real momentum. Unlike many grid puzzlers, the goal is not simply to reach an exit or flip every switch; you build a compact machine, watch its signal chain fire, then decide whether to cash out or expand. Around 30 missions add story material, while 33 achievements give completionists extra reasons to revisit difficult boards. Fans of Opus Magnum, Shenzhen I/O, or other thoughtful automation puzzlers should feel at home, although Signal Maze is more approachable than its denser programming-focused cousins.
