You may be a heavily armed survivor one run and an absurd potato fighter the next, but everyone starts with the same goal: survive the arenas and earn a route to freedom.

Runs move through shifting collections of combat rooms, hazardous platforming sections, shops, and arena challenges. You jump, dash, attack, and weave through dense enemy patterns while learning the tells of monsters and bosses that can quickly overwhelm an unfocused player. Before certain encounters, you choose which opponent to face and which path to take, allowing you to gamble on tougher fights for better rewards or choose a safer route when health is low. Coins and loot steadily reshape a build, with weapons, trinkets, pets, and oddball upgrades creating combinations that range from practical defensive setups to meatball-throwing chaos. Eight characters offer distinct approaches, so repeated attempts are not just about better reflexes but also about finding a fighter whose tools suit your style.
