Space Trash Scavenger blends open-world survival, base construction, and zero-gravity exploration in a setting where corporate employment is as dangerous as the vacuum outside your airlock. You work for ScavCorp, harvesting profitable debris from hostile sectors while trying to make enough fuel, food, and firepower to reach the next jump. The mood is scrappy and industrious rather than outright terrifying, but the emptiness of space makes every expedition feel risky.

Most of your time revolves around expanding a modular Space Rig, a freeform 3D base that can grow in any direction instead of following a flat building grid. You install power systems, gravity modules, farming equipment, recycling stations, storage, defenses, and crafting facilities, then process recovered trash into supplies or valuable trade goods. Jetpacking away from home lets you sweep asteroid fields, investigate ruined stations, and board derelict ships, though managing oxygen and return fuel is crucial when your base is a tiny target in the black. Progress comes from refining resources, selling excess materials, improving your suit and weapons, building a warp drive, and moving on to new procedurally generated salvage zones.
