Spoiler Alert turns the familiar side-scrolling platformer premise inside out by asking you to undo a completed quest one level at a time. Its cheerful cartoon world and deliberately silly story keep the mood light, but the reverse structure creates a surprisingly demanding puzzle-platforming challenge. Rather than chasing a happy ending, you work backward to uncover why the hero’s victory needs to be erased.

Each stage sends you from its apparent finish toward its original starting point, navigating platforms, hazards, and enemy layouts that now need to be restored instead of cleared. Coins must be returned, defeated monsters need reviving, and careless movement can create a time paradox that forces a restart. The controls stay intentionally simple, emphasizing clean jumps, timing, and learning the safest route through compact obstacle courses. Across 100 levels spread over four themed worlds, the difficulty steadily introduces new enemy behaviors, upgrades, hazards, and boss encounters, while SpeedRunner Mode encourages players to master routes and shave seconds from their runs.

The cleverness comes from how completely Spoiler Alert commits to its joke: standard platformer rituals become problems when success means putting everything back where it belongs. Hand-drawn visuals give the worlds a colorful, storybook look, while Roland La Goy’s soundtrack supports the brisk, playful pace without drowning out the action. It is not as mechanically deep as Super Meat Boy or as expansive as a major Mario-style adventure, but its central reversal gives every familiar screen a fresh purpose. Fans of concise indie platformers, speedrunning, and comedy built around game conventions should find plenty to enjoy, while newcomers get an accessible challenge that becomes tougher as its rules unfold.
