Spy and technician Sam Watson manipulates alien devices, and Derreck Harper’s drones can heal allies or disable hostile machinery; later companions add close-range Jaffa combat and the brute strength of an Unas warrior. The key tool is synchronized planning, letting the squad queue actions and execute them together, which makes difficult encounters feel more like solving a moving tactical puzzle than relying on fast reflexes.
