Berlin in 2048 is a polished nightmare of polluted streets, corporate control, service robots, and cameras that never look away. State of Mind turns that familiar cyberpunk anxiety into a personal thriller, following combative journalist Richard Nolan after an explosion separates him from his missing wife and son. His search moves beyond hospital wards and rain-soaked apartments into a confrontation with mind uploading, artificial intelligence, and a supposedly flawless digital refuge called City 5. The mood is cerebral and uneasy rather than action-heavy, asking whether humanity can survive by abandoning the physical world altogether.

Play revolves around investigation, dialogue, environmental interaction, and story-driven puzzle solving instead of combat.
