Super Man Or Monster lets you act as a jetpack-equipped defender assembling a military response, or as a towering creature whose answer to every problem is stomping it flat. Its 8-bit-inspired visual style keeps the destruction colorful rather than grim, while chiptunes and absurd weapons give the mayhem a knowingly silly arcade tone. The result feels like a compact kaiju movie filtered through chunky voxel cities and old-school action-game energy.

Choosing Man turns each match into a defensive assault: fly above the streets, deploy units, and blast invading beasts before they level the city. Tanks, turrets, helicopters, and other placed hardware are not merely support tools, since you can take direct control of what you deploy and join the fight yourself. Choosing Monster reverses the fantasy, encouraging you to smash buildings, crush resistance, and use powers such as fireballs, body slams, and deliberately ridiculous special attacks to spread maximum chaos. Progression comes through unlocking additional units, monsters, attacks, and trophies, giving both sides more toys to experiment with across over 30 cube-built versions of major cities.

Its biggest strength is the sharply different feel of its two factions: one side improvises a defense force, while the other becomes the disaster. Local split-screen pits Man against Monster, making it an easy pick for couch competition where one player coordinates weapons and the other tries to turn the map into rubble. The stripped-back presentation and straightforward controls make it approachable, but players who enjoy the destructive freedom of Rampage, the military gadgetry of arcade shooters, or goofy physics-driven chaos find the most to like here.
