Game Overview

A plane wreck leaves one survivor adrift on an endless ocean, where every plank, scrap of metal, and salvaged supply becomes another chance to stay alive. Survive on Raft is a straightforward indie survival simulation built around turning a fragile floating platform into a functional home. Its mood balances lonely disaster survival with a more colorful, approachable crafting experience, especially once friends join the voyage. The sea is both your resource field and your greatest threat, surrounding you with opportunity while offering very little safety.

Most of your time goes into gathering debris from the water, converting materials into tools and supplies, and steadily enlarging your raft. More than 60 construction and crafting options let you shape the vessel around your priorities, whether that means practical storage, defenses, living space, or preparation for longer expeditions. Hunger, supplies, and the need for equipment keep the basic loop moving, while island trips add a riskier layer of scavenging and exploration. Ten islands offer distinct hazards, mysteries, and valuable loot, so setting out requires weapons, provisions, and enough planning to make it back to the raft alive.

Online multiplayer makes the survival routine considerably more enjoyable, since players can divide up gathering, construction, exploration, and defense rather than handling every task alone. Character customization also gives co-op crews a little personality through a large selection of clothes and accessories. The wandering merchant provides a useful progression route, trading gathered resources for blueprints and offering hints that help direct your next goals. Players who enjoy the floating-base building and ocean scavenging of Raft, but want a simpler survival-focused alternative with island excursions and casual co-op, are the natural audience; patient solo builders can still find a relaxing loop in gradually transforming wreckage into a seaworthy refuge.
