Its mood is deliberately unforgiving: every sealed door, broken machine, and strange supply cache could save a run or end it. Rather than treating death as a minor setback, it makes survival feel earned through preparation and careful decision-making.

Players choose from distinct specialists including the Marine, Scout, Engineer, Medic, and Drill Sergeant, then descend through twenty increasingly dangerous levels packed with mutated foes, traps, radiation, starvation hazards, and disease.
