Its tone balances hectic dogfights and larger political choices, giving the adventure more personality than many space sims of its era.

Flying missions means hunting pirates, escorting freighters, scouting hostile territory, protecting installations, and joining fleet-scale assaults around enormous capital ships and orbital bases. The cockpit view keeps combat immediate: managing speed, shields, weapon loadouts, targets, and evasive maneuvers matters as much as simply lining up shots. Money earned from contracts improves your ship through new guns, missiles, defensive equipment, and other upgrades, while branching assignments let you decide which factions deserve your support.
