A storm-tossed airship crash leaves young Teslamancer Lumina stranded in Wyrmheim, a harsh northern region of fjords, ruins, raiders, and colossal machinery. Teslagrad 2 is a hand-painted 2D Metroidvania that trades brute-force action for nimble movement and clever applications of magnetic force. Its steampunk technology and Norse-inspired wilderness create a striking atmosphere: beautiful on the surface, but lonely, dangerous, and full of remnants from a troubled past. Lumina’s aim is simple—find a route home—but the towering structures and wilderness around her turn that journey into a sprawling mystery.

Movement drives nearly every part of the adventure. Lumina blinks through hazards, slides across slopes, and manipulates magnetic fields to propel herself around rooms, cross deadly gaps, redirect momentum, and solve environmental puzzles. New powers and gear steadily expand where she can go, encouraging returns to earlier zones for secrets, collectibles, and blocked paths that now make sense. Combat exists in the form of hostile Viking-like fighters, mythic creatures, and dramatic boss encounters, though success depends more on reading patterns and using mobility intelligently than standing still to trade hits. Platforming can be demanding, especially when curved magnetic surfaces turn a room into a fast-moving physics problem, but frequent checkpoints keep experimentation from becoming exhausting.

What separates Teslagrad 2 from the usual exploration platformer is how naturally its traversal system becomes the puzzle system. Magnetic mechanics are not a one-note gimmick; they evolve alongside the map, creating satisfying chains of dashes, slides, polarity shifts, and airborne course corrections.
