The Adventures of HILLS is an adult visual novel with free-roaming elements, casting players as Hills, a young woman trying to survive while a larger conspiracy closes around her and her companions. Its tone is deliberately uneasy: wealth and refinement sit beside criminal violence, predatory authority figures, and the constant risk that an apparently helpful stranger has another agenda.

Rather than pushing players down one straight route, the game lets them move around the city, meet its varied residents, and choose how Hills responds to unfolding situations.
