Players take a job cleaning, maintaining, and watching over a small neighborhood sento, where fluorescent lights hum, tiled corridors echo, and ordinary customer interactions gradually turn disturbing. Its tone is deliberately mundane at first, making the supernatural and grotesque moments land harder when the shift begins to unravel.

Most of the game revolves around performing simple work tasks: cleaning areas, handling customer needs, checking facilities, taking out trash, and moving between the bathhouse and nearby streets. These chores create a believable work-simulator rhythm, but they also force players to notice changing details, suspicious behavior, and environmental clues that point toward the larger mystery. Exploration is compact but purposeful, with scripted scares, dialogue scenes, and small investigative beats breaking up the workday. The restored version adds a reworked story, new mechanics and characters, stronger visual detail, improved models, chapter-based autosaves, and several endings that encourage another look at key decisions and events.

What makes it memorable is how effectively it turns a familiar public space into a place that feels unsafe after dark. Rather than relying solely on monsters, the horror comes from awkward conversations, invasive strangers, strange noises beyond closed doors, and the sense that the protagonist is trapped in a job nobody else wants. Its grainy, grounded presentation and restrained pacing fit alongside other Chilla’s Art horror games, while the bathhouse premise gives it a particularly intimate, culturally specific identity. Fans of Fears to Fathom, Puppet Combo’s low-fi tension, and psychological horror with narrative twists should find plenty to enjoy, although players wanting action-heavy survival horror may find its deliberate pace too quiet.
