The interface is straightforward and the game keeps its scope focused, although players expecting modern hint systems or sprawling exploration should be ready for some traditional adventure-game logic.

Rosa begins guarded and overwhelmed, Joey is abrasive but unexpectedly compassionate, and their sharp exchanges give the bleak cases warmth and personality. Its deliberately retro pixel-art presentation recalls 1990s PC adventures, while the writing carries a more mature, somber tone than the visuals initially suggest.
