You search for food, solve environmental puzzles, uncover shelters, recruit new herd members, and mutate your creatures by consuming useful objects scattered across the landscape. One mutation may give a Trebhum wings, while another supplies a vacuum-like trunk, defensive spikes, heat resistance, or the ability to cross dangerous terrain. Combat is simple but chaotic, with the herd’s numbers and specialized abilities mattering more than precise action-game skill, while the ever-advancing Cylinder forces you to decide when to investigate and when to run.

Its most memorable feature is the ecosystem itself: bizarre creatures behave according to their own instincts, threats can reshape encounters, and destruction caused by the Cylinder permanently alters the route ahead.
