Hunting spirits feeds directly into the game’s central loop: the Oaklingers you collect become sentient totems that need attention and care. In return, these unusual companions provide relics that support further progress, giving the base-building side a purpose beyond decoration. Time away from hunting is spent gathering timber, stone, crops, and fish, then processing materials into buildings, production facilities, and useful upgrades. As new parts of Oakshade open up, you expand your reach while shaping a settlement with fences, floors, walls, furniture, outdoor ornaments, and a broad range of visual details.
