Progress comes through freeform 2D exploration, close-range fights, and an unusually important gardening system. Combat rewards timing rather than button mashing: you dodge, parry, chain attacks, and adapt to bizarre enemies whose patterns demand patience, while collected body parts can improve your health and combat potential.
