Arcadia is a wounded, neon-streaked machine city where every rescue carries a cost. You play Alma, an automaton awakening after humanity’s war against her kind, only to find the energy sustaining sentient machines rapidly disappearing. Friends, merchants, and potential allies slowly lose themselves and become violent UNSIGHTED if you cannot reach them in time, giving the adventure an unusually tense emotional edge. Its pixel-art presentation looks vibrant and expressive, but the mood is melancholy, urgent, and often ruthless.

Alma fights through interconnected districts from a top-down perspective, searching for keys, tools, upgrades, and routes that gradually open Arcadia into a satisfying Metroidvania-style maze. The central timer advances outside of menus and safe moments, so detours, deaths, and indecision can reshape quests and determine who survives; players who prefer exploration over pressure can also adjust the time system through its accessibility options.

What separates UNSIGHTED from most action adventures is that its apocalyptic clock is not merely narrative flavor—it changes the people, services, encounters, and endings available in a run. Clever environmental obstacles frequently ask you to reconsider familiar weapons as traversal tools, while shortcuts make repeat playthroughs faster and more informed rather than repetitive. Local co-op lets a second player join the campaign, and Boss Rush and Dungeon Raid modes give combat-focused players reasons to keep refining their builds after the story.
