Game Overview

A quiet, abandoned island becomes a personal sanctuary for dozens of expressive rabbits in this gentle idle life sim. Rather than asking for fast reactions or perfect planning, it focuses on the simple pleasure of arranging a beautiful space and seeing who comes to visit. Its hand-drawn look, soft animation, and flexible day-night settings create a warm atmosphere that works equally well as a brief daily distraction or a calm background companion while working. The mood stays sweet and unhurried, with no combat, failure states, or pressure to race through its collection goals.

You spend your time placing buildings, plants, toys, food, and decorative objects around the island to attract different rabbit personalities. Each visitor has particular tastes, so choosing the right furnishings gradually brings in new residents and gives the island a more lived-in character. Friendship grows through hands-on interactions including feeding, petting, grooming, and hide-and-seek, while hats let you add a little individuality to favorite guests. Photography serves as another major pastime: snapshots fill a scrapbook, can become wallpapers, and capture the charming little scenes that emerge when rabbits investigate the objects you place. As bonds deepen, certain rabbits offer keepsakes and may permanently move in.

What makes the experience work is how much personality it finds in small details: a rabbit’s preferred toy, an unexpected nap spot, or a carefully framed photo can feel like a reward in itself. More than 35 rabbits and over 100 decorations give completion-minded players plenty to uncover, but the design never turns that collection into a grind. The PC edition removes the mobile-style transaction layer and adds refinements that make decorating and relaxing more seamless. Fans of Animal Crossing’s decorating, Neko Atsume’s visitor-watching appeal, or low-stakes cozy games will feel immediately at home, while newcomers to idle games get an especially welcoming introduction.

Setup Guide & Troubleshooting

How do I fix missing DLL errors for Usagi Shima: Bunny Island?

After extracting Usagi Shima: Bunny Island, navigate to the _Redist or _CommonRedist folder inside the game directory and install DirectX, Vcredist, and any other dependencies included.

What should I do if the downloaded file is corrupted?

The full archive is 639.48 MB — make sure your download completed fully before extracting. Use 7-Zip to extract the files. If you still see a "file corrupted" error, re-download and try again.

Do I need to run the game as administrator?

Usually, no. Start the game normally from the extracted folder. If you see a permissions or save error, check that the folder is writable and follow the game's documented fix. Only grant administrator access when a trusted game's specific setup requires it.

How do I update my GPU drivers for this game?

Usagi Shima: Bunny Island requires a Intel HD Graphics 620 or equivalent. Update your NVIDIA or AMD drivers to the latest version for the best performance.

The game won't launch — what should I try?

Check that extraction completed and your PC meets the system requirements. Note any error message before choosing a fix. If it identifies a missing runtime, install the required DirectX components or Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable from Microsoft.

My antivirus is blocking the game — is it safe?

A warning needs to be investigated; the download source alone cannot confirm that a file is safe. Keep your security software enabled and review the detection details. Do not run or restore a flagged file unless you have verified that it is a false positive. If you are unsure, leave it quarantined.
