Dontnod’s strongest idea is that its morality system is tied directly to progression: the most tempting route to becoming powerful is often the one that causes the greatest human damage. London feels less like an open-world playground than a dense web of vulnerable people, and losing even one resident can alter quests and relationships in unexpected ways. The combat can feel rough around the edges and some investigations are more compelling than the fights, but the atmosphere, voice work, and weight of your choices carry it through. Vampyr suits players who enjoy the decision-driven storytelling of Life is Strange alongside the brooding action-RPG structure of Bloodborne, especially if they prefer consequences that linger rather than simple good-or-evil meters.
