Combat centers on sharp aim, quick repositioning, and knowing when to spend the gadgets that can save a run. The key twist is its advancing day-and-night cycle: certain perks function in daylight while others activate after dark, so a powerful build must account for changing conditions instead of simply stacking the highest damage bonuses. Death ends an expedition and costs the current haul, but collected progress feeds back into a base-upgrade system that improves future attempts.

That shifting perk system gives each run more planning than the usual “pick a weapon and shoot” roguelite loop. A loadout that dominates under the sun can become fragile at night, encouraging players to combine firearms, active tools, and passive abilities with some foresight rather than relying on one lucky find. Procedural enemy placements and rewards help keep repeated dives unpredictable, while permadeath ensures even familiar encounters demand attention.
