A severed zombie head becomes an unlikely pinball in a grimy obstacle course built from spinning blades, crushers, and other ways to splatter the undead. Zombie Head rejects the usual bright, harmless look of casual arcade games in favor of blood, metal, and a heavy-metal soundtrack. Its premise is deliberately absurd: guide a disembodied head through lethal stages and somehow roll it intact to the exit. What makes Zombie Head memorable is its commitment to a simple idea taken to gleefully grotesque extremes: the player is not an armed survivor fighting zombies, but the vulnerable object being bounced through the machinery. The tilt-based movement gives it the feel of a hazardous marble-rolling game, while the visual tone and music make every failure far more aggressive than its casual controls suggest.
