DMZ’s focus on looting, uneasy alliances, betrayal, and survival makes each deployment less predictable than a standard deathmatch, especially for teams that enjoy creating their own objectives. Fans of Modern Warfare’s grounded presentation, Battlefield-style vehicle encounters, and extraction shooters such as Escape from Tarkov should find plenty to like, while newcomers can still rely on Call of Duty’s accessible shooting fundamentals.
