A quarantined city becomes a rotting prison where nobody is safe, not even the survivors. You play Sam, a former urban planner whose knowledge of the city’s neglected infrastructure offers a slim chance of getting out alive. The mood is relentlessly filthy and oppressive, with every dark corridor suggesting that something is waiting just beyond the edge of your vision.

Survival revolves around pushing through hostile spaces, scavenging what you can, and meeting threats at brutally close range. Sam’s hammer is central to the combat, encouraging savage melee encounters instead of the detached safety usually associated with modern shooters; getting surrounded or misjudging distance can turn a fight ugly fast.
