Detective Hayseed – The Cloning Madness is a comic-book point-and-click adventure built around absurd science-fiction, eccentric citizens, and a mystery that grows stranger with every lead. The mood stays playful rather than grim, treating corporate cloning and civic corruption as fuel for broad jokes, visual gags, and detective misadventures.

Players investigate more than 50 illustrated locations, interrogate locals, collect a huge assortment of objects, and combine inventory items to overcome the town’s deliberately bizarre obstacles. Progress follows the classic adventure-game rhythm: inspect every screen, chase dialogue clues, solve environmental puzzles, and work out which unlikely tool belongs in which unlikely situation. Francis is not a hard-boiled mastermind, so much of the appeal comes from navigating cases through comic incompetence and unconventional logic.
