New powers turn Vladimir from a basic brawler into an increasingly absurd wrecking ball: a pink worm can hinder foes before a giant wrench delivers the follow-up, and a charged Magnet calls in one of the Four Horsemen for emergency support. Chasing crate-carrying giant chickens quickly also matters, since catching them as the city rises unlocks additional abilities and rewards.

What separates it from many pixel-action games is the city itself: it is both the progression system and a growing hub that supplies NPC helpers, squadmates, and combat advantages. Enemy backstories and flashbacks give the chaos more personality than its simple left-right controls initially suggest, while boss-related Horsemen’s Gifts encourage experimenting with different bonuses. The arcade structure makes it approachable in short sessions, but upgrades, unlockable tricks, and improving stage performance offer reasons to keep climbing.
