The result carries the solitary, contemplative mood associated with Myst and Riven, but trades many of their static vistas for more physical spaces and a stronger steampunk identity. A spectral companion follows your investigation, adding a human thread to a world otherwise defined by silence, scale, and unanswered questions.

Progress centers on searching environments for clues, understanding how their machinery functions, and using the Adjunct, a handheld device that connects to mechanisms throughout the world. Puzzles ask players to observe carefully, trace cause and effect across large areas, manipulate power systems, and gradually gain access to previously unreachable locations.
