Its greatest strength is how much it expands the original’s simple formula without losing its immediacy. Toy versions of familiar mascots, damaged older characters, and the relentless Puppet create distinct rules to learn, while cryptic minigames and phone calls feed the series’ larger mystery. The lack of a safe defensive option makes it more demanding than its predecessor, and later nights can feel brutally unforgiving until the enemy patterns click.
