Each completed village grants powers that can calm hazards or protect inhabitants, but these abilities have limited uses and demand careful timing. What separates From Dust from most god games is the physicality of its world: water seeks low ground, lava spreads and hardens, vegetation grows, and poorly placed terrain changes can create problems several minutes later.
