Rather than presenting war as a power fantasy, it focuses on exhaustion, sacrifice, scarce supplies, and ordinary people forced into extraordinary roles.

Patrols move across a city map, accept orders from headquarters, gather resources, and confront a mix of scripted historical moments and unpredictable encounters.
