The central goal is simple enough—survive repeated runs and break a supernatural bargain—but reaching that goal means enduring places designed to unravel perception.

Runs revolve around pushing through procedurally assembled mazes, fighting eldritch enemies, gathering stronger tools, and preparing for the monstrous ruler waiting at each region’s end. Firearms and melee options lean hard into occult fantasy: a revolver can launch suffering spirits, while a vicious macuahuitl rewards aggressive killing by increasing its power.
