LiDAR Exploration Program is a compact atmospheric adventure with light horror framing, built around navigating environments that remain invisible until your scanner paints them in shifting points of color. Its eight locations move from forests and caves to abandoned urban spaces, using silence, isolation, and unfamiliar objects to create unease rather than relying on constant jump scares.

Walking, scanning, and identifying targets form the central loop. A LiDAR device sends out pulses that briefly reveal nearby walls, paths, scenery, and objects as a colored point-cloud image, forcing you to read the world through incomplete information instead of normal sight. Each stage asks you to locate and scan unknown items; some are mundane environmental details, while others are deliberately strange enough to make a routine survey feel ominous. An overhead map offers practical guidance when you lose your bearings, and customizable scanner patterns let you adjust the visual look of the tool as you work through the levels.

The strongest idea here is its commitment to making limited visibility the entire experience rather than a temporary gimmick. Different color palettes give each location a separate identity, while the scanner’s fragmented imagery makes even simple movement feel tense and exploratory. It is closer to a short experimental horror walk than a survival-horror challenge: there is no indication of deep combat, elaborate puzzles, or a demanding progression system.
