Game Overview

A cursed cycle grips Eldralith, and survival depends less on a lucky roll than on how cleverly you shape the dice before it lands. Luck & Loot is a brisk turn-based roguelike that turns the familiar deck-building formula into a modular dice-building system, where every face represents an attack, defense, effect, or risky tactical option. Its mood leans dark and tense, with haunted heroes pushing through hostile dungeons for answers as much as treasure. Randomness matters, but the point is to bend that chaos into a build that can withstand increasingly cruel odds.

Each run begins with one of three heroes, whose distinct pools of dice faces encourage different approaches to combat and resource management. Players carry four customizable dice, swap in new sides, enhance useful effects, and sacrifice weaker options to gain stronger traits, all while working within each die’s limited capacity. Battles play out in turns, asking you to weigh immediate damage against setup, defense, status effects, relic bonuses, and the probability of the next roll. Five dungeon paths, random events, dozens of enemy types, bosses, relics, and more than sixteen challenge modifiers keep the route unpredictable, while escalating threats force builds to evolve rather than rely on one safe combo.

The standout idea is how physical and flexible the buildcraft feels: instead of merely adding cards to a pile, you are constantly redesigning the tools that determine your turns. Powerful loot synergies can turn an awkward die face into the centerpiece of a run, but high-risk modifiers and limited slots mean greed often carries a price. Its structure should appeal to fans of Slay the Spire, Dicey Dungeons, and Monster Train who enjoy testing combinations, adapting to bad luck, and learning from failed runs. Newcomers can grasp the basic roll-and-upgrade loop quickly, while roguelike veterans are likely to get the most from optimizing faces, relic interactions, and punishing difficulty settings.
