Lumberhill is a colorful action party game that sends up to four lumberjacks through forests, snowy routes, strange eras, and increasingly unruly worksites. Its mood sits somewhere between Overcooked’s frantic coordination and a Saturday-morning cartoon: welcoming at first glance, then gleefully cruel once fires, wildlife, and falling hazards start wrecking the plan.

Each level gives the crew a set of timber orders to fill before time runs out, demanding that players chop trees, haul logs, process materials, and deliver them to the right place. Routes rarely stay simple for long, as blocked paths, loose animals, environmental disasters, and sudden map changes force everyone to improvise rather than follow a neat routine. Success depends on dividing jobs quickly, communicating clearly, and occasionally accepting that somebody needs to abandon the lumber operation to herd an animal or clear the way. Solo play is available for a more measured challenge, but local and online co-op support is where the frantic handoffs, accidental collisions, and last-second saves become most entertaining.

What separates Lumberhill from other co-op task games is its willingness to turn nature into an active nuisance, throwing meteor strikes, wildfires, pirates, dinosaurs, and mischievous creatures into its compact work zones. New regions introduce different obstacles and visual themes, while unlockable character skins give regular groups a little extra incentive to revisit levels and chase cleaner runs. A separate PvP option lets players disrupt the workers as aggressive animals, making it ideal for groups that enjoy sabotaging each other as much as cooperating.
