Game Overview

A grumpy neighbour’s daily routine becomes the stage for a gleefully mean-spirited hidden-camera show, where every laugh comes at his expense. Neighbours Back from Hell collects the two classic prank adventures and wraps them in a colourful, early-2000s cartoon style that treats household sabotage like prime-time television. You control Woody, an unseen tormentor armed with rubber bands, banana peels, itching powder, and a talent for turning ordinary chores into disasters. The mood is mischievous rather than cruel, driven by slapstick reactions, canned audience laughter, and the satisfaction of watching a perfectly timed scheme unravel.

Each episode plays as a compact point-and-click puzzle: scout the neighbour’s movements, search rooms for useful objects, and plant traps before he returns to the wrong chair, cupboard, or bathroom fixture. Timing matters because Woody must stay out of sight; getting caught costs a life and forces you to rethink the order of your pranks. Early levels take place around the neighbour’s home, while the second half sends the TV production abroad to locations inspired by China, India, Mexico, and more, adding new hazards and characters to avoid. Progress depends on earning enough viewer approval through varied, chained pranks, encouraging players to inspect every screen and find the most entertaining combinations.

Its strongest feature is the clean, readable puzzle design: every location is small enough to understand, yet packed with routes, props, and opportunities for escalating chaos. Hand-drawn animations give every successful trick a punchy payoff, and the remastered presentation keeps the original cartoon personality intact without making the game feel overly modernized. Challenges are generally approachable, though later stages can demand careful observation and a little trial and error when item uses are not immediately obvious. Fans of classic adventure games, simple stealth puzzles, and the playful cruelty of shows like Jackass will find a breezy, nostalgic comedy game that works especially well in short sessions.
